Meet The Band Dave Harman
Dave Harman is the baby of the family, playing lead guitar and providing backing vocals and harmonies. Dave says - “I started playing guitar in the early 80’s but have always loved the sounds of the 60’s, especially the Shadows. I love playing their music so much so that I’m thinking of changing my middle name to Hank!. Almost all the numbers we perform were written well-before I was born ….much to the annoyance of the other guys when I remind them, which is frequently!”.
Doug Collins
Providing the acoustic rhythm guitar sounds, plus vocal backing and harmonies, is Doug Collins. His particular guitar sound, blended with Dave’s electric guitar, results in the band’s true 60’s vibe. Doug’s been around a bit (to put it mildly) having spent 15 years from mid 70’s until the early 90’s travelling the world with his guitar. He says - “ Music is like an international language. I’ve travelled to some of the furthest reaches of India, Australasia and Asia where English was hardly spoken, but pick up a guitar and start playing songs by say the Beatles and everyone sings along…amazing”.
Roger Sea
Granddaddy of the band is Roger Sea, lead vocalist and youngest member of the band, he says …. dream-on! During the 60’s Roger performed professionally and supported some of the top acts of the day. Roger says - “ Performing live gives me such a buzz, I’m like a coiled spring really” (and you can understand why when you see him bouncing around on stage) “You can’t beat the 60’s music, however, I’m far too young to remember!! The other guys, who are much older than I, had to teach me most of the songs” … oh yes … in your dreams Roger!
